About the numbers this app produces. Resale Inventory helps you keep records and works out figures like cost of goods, profit and mileage from what you enter. Those are a record, not tax advice, and we can't verify them.
You're responsible for what you file. Check the figures with an accountant or tax preparer before relying on them, and keep your own receipts. We aren't liable for tax, penalties or interest arising from anything in this app.
Only what you put in, plus what's needed to run an account:
We don't run advertising, we don't sell anything to anyone, and we don't build profiles for marketing.
Only these, and only to make the app work:
Only people you've added to your inventory. Each business's data is separated in the database itself, not just in the app, so one customer's records can't be reached from another's account. Photos are stored privately and shown through links that expire.
We may access data if you ask us to for support, or if we're legally required to.
Your records stay while your account exists. If your subscription lapses the app becomes read-only — nothing is deleted, and you can still read and export everything.
You can export all your records to a spreadsheet at any time from the app. To delete your account and everything in it, email us and we'll do it within 30 days. Some billing records are kept longer where the law requires.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold, and to object to how it's used. Email us and we'll help. We won't treat you differently for asking.
The listing helper extension shows your own inventory beside whatever page you're on, so you can copy details into a marketplace's form. It's optional and separate from the app.
What it does: signs you in to the same account, reads your own items, and lets you copy text, download your photos, and mark items as posted. Your sign-in is stored locally in your browser so you don't have to sign in each time.
What it does not do: it never asks for, stores or uses a password for Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Depop, Vinted or any other marketplace. It has no permission to read, change or interact with any marketplace's website — it can only reach our own database. It doesn't track which pages you visit, and it collects no analytics.
Your browser remembers that you're signed in, so you don't have to type your password every time, along with a couple of small preferences like which categories you've collapsed. That's all. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing that follows you to other websites.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they land on. It's privacy-first: no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no tracking you across other websites. We can see that a page was visited and roughly where in the world from — we cannot see who you are or follow you around.
That's why there's no cookie banner on this site. There's nothing to consent to.
Data is stored and processed in the United States. If you're using this from elsewhere, that means your information is transferred there.
This is a tool for businesses and isn't intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Access is controlled at the database level, photos are private, and payment details never reach us. But no service is perfectly secure, and we can't promise otherwise. Use a password you don't use elsewhere.
A subscription to use Resale Inventory to track your own reselling business. It's provided as it is — we work to keep it running and correct, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Keep your password to yourself, and you're responsible for what happens under your account. Anyone you add to your inventory can see and change everything in it, so add people you trust.
Plans include a monthly allowance of AI generations. If you go past it, those features pause until the next month or until you move to a larger plan. Everything else keeps working.
Your records and photos belong to you. You give us permission to store and display them so the app can work, and to send them to the services listed above for the same reason. Nothing more.
You can stop any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or doesn't pay, and we'll give you a chance to export your records first unless the law prevents it.
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for lost profits, lost data, tax consequences, or any indirect loss. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to what you've paid us in the previous 12 months.
This matters most around tax. Keep your own receipts and have a professional check your figures.
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we'll say so in the app or by email before it takes effect.
